Basket Giving

We are always seeking basket stuffers!

This year, for our gala, we need donations toward our gift baskets. The proceeds from the gift baskets go toward the growth of the organization and its efforts. For the basket stuffers, we accept new or very lightly used items. Please see below for a detailed list of what we commonly need!

Detailed Items:

  • Items for children and family entertainment

    • Toys, puzzles, games, stickers, small stuffed animals, etc.

  • Self-care items for men and women

    • Soaps, lotions, body care, hair care, bathroom accessories, etc.

  • Kitchen and home accessories

    • Tea towels, baking items, kitchen utensils, baking mixes, paper napkins, drinking glasses, mugs, wine glasses, serving tray, vases, etc.

  • Food

    • Pre-packaged and shelf stable; expiry date into 2026.

  • Pets

    • Treats, bowls, dog/cat toys, brushes/combs, etc.

  • Christmas

    • Decorations, mugs, ornaments, serving trays, etc.

  • Extras

    • Walkers shortbread or specialty cookies, candies, chocolates, nuts, candy canes, containers to make the baskets (eg, baskets, trays, bowls, gift boxes, etc.).

  • Gift cards

    • $5-$10 Eg: Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Superstore, etc.

  • Cash donations are very helpful

    • Cash

    • Cheque addressed to Seeds of Love and Hope International Society, 12564 251st Street, Maple Ridge, V4R 1S4.

    • E-transfer to treasurer@solahis.com

    • Online giving by following the online giving button below. Please make note that your donation is for baskets in the ‘note/special instruction’ area.

      • All donations are tax-receiptable.
